The Great British Postal Service (GBPS) was founded in August of 1456 by Sindaia of Southampton, Wiltshire. Wiltshire was the first county to organize an inter-county system of mail delivery, leveraging volunteer Post Masters and Post Mistresses in each town to "deliver" the mail from senders outside their town to their local Post Office (RP thread). The County Palatine of Lancaster was next to fully organize and staff each town, with Sussex County following in quick succession.
